Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Security Service Engineer to support a national commercial contract across the Southampton and Portsmouth area. This temporary subcontract role focuses on security systems including access control, intercoms, and CCTV, with additional fire alarm and emergency lighting tasks as required.

The position offers an initial 6-month rolling contract, Monday to Friday schedule with weekend work possible, and opportunities to travel between commercial sites while

Qualifications

• Proven experience with security systems (access control, intercoms, CCTV).
• Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
• Ability to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance works.
• Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Valid DBS check required.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance of security systems (primary focus) – access control, intercoms, CCTV.
• Fault-finding and reactive repairs across security systems.
• Basic servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting where required.

Security Service Engineer (Temporary Sub-Contract Role)

V7 are recruiting experienced Fire & Security Service Engineers to support a national commercial contract across the Southampton / Portsmouth area. This is a multi-skilled role with a stronger focus on security systems, including access control, intercoms, and CCTV.

This role offers stable, long-term subcontract work across commercial sites in the region.

The Role

• Initial 6-month rolling contract
• Monday to Friday working pattern (weekend work available)
• Servicing and maintenance of security systems (primary focus) – access control, intercoms,
• Fault-finding and reactive repairs across security systems
• Basic servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting where required
• Working across commercial sites throughout Southampton & Portsmouth
• Managing workload effectively while meeting service deadlines
