Job summary

V7 Recruitment in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Security Service Engineer for a temporary subcontract role covering the Southampton and Portsmouth area. The role focuses on servicing and maintaining access control, intercoms and CCTV on commercial sites under a national contract.

You will perform fault-finding, planned and reactive maintenance, and support fire alarm systems and emergency lighting as required.

Qualifications

Proven experience with security systems (access control, intercoms, CCTV).
Basic knowledge of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting.
Ability to carry out both planned and reactive maintenance works.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
Valid DBS check required.

Responsibilities

Servicing and maintenance of security systems (primary focus) - access control, intercoms.
Fault-finding and reactive repairs across security systems.
Basic servicing and maintenance of fire alarm systems and emergency lighting where required.
Working across commercial sites throughout Southampton & Portsmouth.
Managing workload effectively while meeting service deadlines.
