Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking a Multiskilled Fire & Security Service Engineer for an ongoing subcontract project across Bath, Gloucestershire and surrounding areas. The role offers 6 months with extension potential, a 5-day week, and weekly pay on a schedule that suits a contract position.

The candidate will service and maintain fire alarms, CCTV and access control, perform fault finding, diagnostics and planned maintenance, and compile accurate service reports for clients.

Qualifications

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems.
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
• Experience with fire alarms, CCTV, access control and intruder alarms.
• Own tools and transport are required; driving is needed.

Multiskilled Fire & Security Service Engineer (Subcontract) - Bath & Gloucestershire

£33.00 - £34.00 per Hour • Outside IR35 • Weekly Pay Every Friday • 6-Month Contract • Immediate Start Available

We are currently seeking an experienced Multiskilled Fire & Security Service Engineer to join an ongoing subcontract project covering Bath, Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineer looking for long-term contract work with a well-established fire and security contractor, working across a varied portfolio of commercial, industrial and public sector sites.

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintaining fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems
• Fault finding, diagnostics and reactive repairs
• Small remedial works and system upgrades
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Completing service reports and relevant documentation accurately
• Ensuring all work is completed to current industry standards and client requirements
• Providing excellent customer service whilst on site

Engineers must be willing to travel between sites.

Contract details

• £33.00 - £34.00 per hour
• Outside IR35

Requirements

• Proven experience servicing and maintaining fire and security systems
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills

• ECS/CSCS card preferred
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Own tools and transport
• Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
