Chubb Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Security Service Engineer to cover York, Harrogate and surrounding areas. You will service, maintain and inspect intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems, while working a local patch to minimise travel.

Responsibilities

• Services, maintains and inspects intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
• Performs planned maintenance and diagnoses faults
• Carries out repairs efficiently and to high standards
• Responds to service calls and resolves technical issues promptly
• Provides customers with clear, helpful technical advice
• Builds positive customer relationships and delivers excellent service
• Maintains accurate records of completed work
• Participates in a structured call-out rota with out-of-hours on-call support

What You'll Be Doing

As a Security Service Engineer, you'll manage your own schedule and visit customer sites throughout your local area. Your responsibilities will include:

• Servicing, maintaining and inspecting intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems
• Carrying out planned maintenance and diagnosing faults
• Completing repairs efficiently and to a high standard
• Responding to service calls and resolving technical issues promptly
• Providing customers with clear, helpful technical advice
• Building positive customer relationships and delivering excellent service
• Maintaining accurate records of completed work
• Taking part in a structured call-out rota, providing out-of-hours support on a rotational basis
