Job summary

Chubb Fire & Security is seeking an experienced Fire Engineer to deliver high-quality fire alarm service across Belfast and Northern Ireland. The role focuses on customer care, safe fault rectification, and timely site visits within a defined territory.

• FIA training (or equivalent desirable).
• Good IT skills and understanding of Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service, building strong relationships with internal and external customers.
• Service fire devices safely and responsibly.
• Manage territory and time effectively, prioritising jobs to ensure efficient completion.
• Work collaboratively with your team and meet tight deadlines.
• Service, maintain, and install fire alarm systems.
• Complete accurate engineer service reports and identify system deficiencies.

What You Will Do:

• Identify and report system deficiencies or deviations
• Maintain a strong Health & Safety focus, identifying risks and reporting concerns promptly
• Aim to achieve a first-time fix wherever possible

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

• Proven experience working with fire alarm systems
• FIA training (or equivalent desirable)
• Good IT skills
• A solid understanding of workplace Health & Safety regulations
• Ability to lift equipment and work at height
• Strong customer-focused approach
• Motivation to earn and be rewarded for your effort
• Exceptional communication skills
• A full UK driving licence
