Job summary

V7 Recruitment is seeking a Security Service Engineer to service and maintain CCTV, access control and intruder alarm systems across commercial and retail sites in London. You will diagnose faults, interpret wiring diagrams, and provide professional customer support while upholding high engineering standards.

Candidate experience with enterprise systems and a proactive teamwork approach is essential for success in this role.

Security Service Engineer

Due to continued growth, our client are looking for a couple of experienced engineers with strong backgrounds across CCTV, Access Control & Intruder Alarms in London.

This is a great opportunity for someone with experience, or seeking to learn enterprise level security systems to work on exciting commercial & retail projects.

Some sites contain enterprise systems i.e. Milestone, Ccure etc, and other contain common systems such as Paxton, Hanwha, Galaxy etc. Each site is different and the work varies so no two days are the same.

On offer:

• Salary up to £50,000
• 26 days annual leave + BH
• Travel paid after 30 minutes each way
• On call rota 1 in 7 (carried out daily)

We are looking for:

• Proven experience in the servicing, maintenance of electronic security systems
• Strong diagnostic and technical problem-solving abili?es.
• Ability to interpret schematics, floor plans, and technical wiring diagrams.
• Strong communication skills with a professional, customer-focused approach.
• Demonstrable commitment to team collaboration, personal development, and high engineering standards.
