Job summary

Parkdean Resorts is seeking an inspiring Security Manager to lead our security team across the park and ensure a safe, welcoming guest experience. You will recruit, train and develop the team, manage security operations, and drive a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.

You will oversee patrols, investigations, and liaison with authorities, balancing guest service with safety and commercial awareness. DBS checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Current SIA license (Minimum Door Supervision).
• Full clean UK driving licence (Manual Car).
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience managing a team.
• Commercial awareness including budget and rota management.
• Ability to drive a positive security culture in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan resource levels to ensure the park has the required security.
• Utilise security team to patrol, deter incidents and maintain safety.
• Ensure compliance with security assignment instructions.
• Manage incidents, escalation, and reporting.
• Manage security technology and CCTV systems.
• Carry out investigations and document statements.
• Review security data on on-park systems.
• Identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities and risks.
• Liaise with local authorities for inspections.
• Attend management meetings to promote security awareness.
• Foster accountability, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and team briefings.

Job description

We're looking for an inspiring Security Manager to lead our dedicated security team and help create an exceptional, safe experience for every guest who visits our park. In this pivotal role, you'll oversee day-to-day security operations, ensuring our environment is welcoming, secure, and running smoothly. You'll take the lead in recruiting, training, and developing your team - empowering them to deliver outstanding service and support across the park. What you will be doing...

• Planning resource levels to ensure the park has the required level of security.
• Utilising Security team members to effectively patrol the park, providing a deterrent and preventing situations where necessary.
• Ensuring compliance with security assignment instructions.
• Managing incidents and situations, ensuring correct escalation, and reporting.
• Managing security technology and CCTV.
• Carrying out full and unbiased investigations, providing detailed statements and reports, ensuring that all security activity has been recorded appropriately.
• Using the on-park systems to review security Data.
• Identifying and managing security vulnerabilities and risks to the park.
• Liaising with local enforcement authorities for routine inspections and investigations.
• Attending Management and Regional Meetings to promote security awareness to colleagues.
• Fostering a culture of accountability, teamwork, trust and continuous improvement.
• Conduct regular 1:1s and team briefings to ensure your team are engaged and working efficiently and effectively.
• Experience managing a team.
• Current SIA license (Minimum Door Supervision) & full clean UK driving licence (Manual Car)
• Excellent customer service skills & confident to communicate and influence.
• Ability to drive positive security culture within a team, and effectively manage and develop a team.
• Commercial awareness, able to manage a budget and rota.
• Able to manage a high pressure, fast paced work environment.
