BT Group seeks a Security Technical Risk Advisor 1 to lead security assurance for Defence projects, shaping secure offerings and ensuring cloud, hybrid, and on-prem architectures meet standards.

You will review threats and risks, apply controls, and work with engineering, operations and customers to embed security from design through lifecycle, including security documentation and communications with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Requires SC (Security Clearance) and minimum 5 years UK working history.
• Experience in security and information risk management.
• Knowledge of cloud/hybrid security architectures and on-premise systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide security leadership and assurance for BT Defence.
• Lead threat and risk assessments and apply appropriate security controls.
• Collaborate with engineering, operations, architects and customers to embed security in design and lifecycle.
