Job summary

Assystem is seeking a security-focused professional to lead the security aspects of a key Defence project. You will draft Security Aspect Letters, perform cyber risk assessments, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance and risk mitigation.

The role involves authorship of security documentation, Secure by Design principles, and information assurance activities, with SC clearance required and potential upgrade to DV.

Qualifications

• SC clearance with ability to upgrade to DV.
• Demonstratable qualification and experience relating to Security Management.
• Chartered member of an appropriate professional body.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain security documentation, including SALs and Security Management Plans.
• Conduct cyber risk assessments, supplier assurance activities, and compliance reviews.
• Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and security stakeholders across complex defence programmes.
• Identify security risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support Secure by Design and information assurance activities.
• Manage secure release of information to third parties and overseas suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with GDPR, JSP 440, JSP 628 and other policies.
