Job summary

Great British Energy - Nuclear is seeking a Head of Security to establish standards for Security, Safeguards and Resilience within the SMR project. You will report to the SLA Director and guide the security function across project phases, ensuring compliance with UK nuclear security regulations and regulatory guidance.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in security management within high-hazard environments.
• Proven ability to lead security/safeguards teams on large-scale projects.
• Strong understanding of nuclear sector security legislation and standards.

Responsibilities

• Set standards for Security and Safeguards and provide strategic guidance.
• Ensure compliance with UK nuclear security regulations and regulatory guidance.
