Job summary

Rolls-Royce SMR is recruiting a Security Assurance Officer to identify physical and personnel security risks and highlight non-compliance. The role supports audit readiness, risk-based decision making, and regulatory alignment across the organisation.

The position is hybrid, based from Derby, Manchester or Warrington, with some UK and international travel expected. A salary range and comprehensive benefits are provided, with opportunities for development.

Qualifications

• Relevant industry security qualifications and accreditations.
• Knowledge of nuclear industry security regulations or similar highly regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Deliver security assurance processes and provide audit information to risk owners.
• Monitor delivery of Physical and Personnel Security services against requirements using KPIs.
• Proactively review security risk and ensure alignment with objectives and standards.
• Develop and apply new security concepts and promote security as a business enabler.
