Job summary

Academia Group is seeking an Information Security Project Engineer to strengthen our Security team in Hemel Hempstead. You will lead security-focused projects, act as technical lead for Sophos MDR, and support Consultants as a Microsoft Security SME.

Strong communication, time management and technical skills are essential. You will scope, build and document projects, deliver M365 security best practices, manage vulnerabilities, and create reusable templates.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering security-focused projects from scoping to documentation.
• Ability to lead security projects and act as SME for Microsoft security.
• Proven track record of implementing M365 security best practices.

Responsibilities

• Scope, build and document security projects based on business needs.
• Deliver security projects including M365 security and vulnerability remediation.
• Create templates for data capture, scoping and costing of projects.
• Develop catalog of repeatable productised security projects for delivery.
• Build user communications and training materials.
• Lead Sophos MDR initiatives and provide Microsoft Security SME support.
• Prepare customer-ready vulnerability reports and remediation status.
