Job summary

Academia Ltd is seeking an Information Security Project Engineer to strengthen the Information Security team. The role focuses on delivering security projects, acting as the technical lead for our Sophos MDR solution and vulnerability management customers.

You will document projects and support Information Security Consultants as a Microsoft Security SME. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, time management, and technical skills, with MS security certifications and experience in

Qualifications

• Attention to detail in all aspects of work including documentation.
• Excellent communication and time management under pressure.
• Ability to travel to customer sites as required.
• Experience designing and implementing Microsoft solutions.
• Understanding of delivering security best practices within Microsoft products.

Responsibilities

• Scope, build and document security focused projects based on business needs and best practices.
• Deliver security projects including Microsoft Purview and M365 security best practices.
• Act as technical lead for Sophos MDR and vulnerability management for customers.
• Create templates for data capture, scoping and costing of projects.
• Develop a catalogue of repeatable productised projects for colleagues.
• Build documentation including user communications and training materials.
• Lead non-standard vulnerability tracking and remediation for customers.
• Provide customer ready reports on vulnerability management activities and status.
