Job summary

Academia Group is seeking an Information Security Project Engineer to strengthen our Information Security team. The role focuses on delivering security projects, acting as technical lead for Sophos MDR and vulnerability management for customers.

You will document projects, support Information Security Consultants as a Microsoft Security SME, and build repeatable, customer-ready security roadmaps with strong communication and time management skills.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering security-focused projects with Microsoft workloads.
• Ability to design and implement security controls across Microsoft products.
• Capable of providing customer-ready vulnerability remediation plans.

Responsibilities

• Scope, build and document security projects based on business needs.
• Deliver security projects including Purview, M365 security, Azure reviews.
• Remediate vulnerabilities and automate repeatable deployments where possible.
• Provide customer-ready reports and act as technical lead for Sophos MDR.
