Job summary

Cubic Defense is seeking an experienced Security Manager to join the ILT-A programme. You will lead security governance, risk management and compliance across the lifecycle, ensuring adherence to MOD policy and national standards while safeguarding personnel, information and assets.

The role offers opportunity to influence security across a growing defence programme within a complex environment, reporting to the Programme Manager and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience leading security governance across complex programmes.
• Knowledge of MOD policy and Defence Standard 05-139.
• Experience in accreditation, assurance and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Act as the programme focal point for Security Management across the ILT-A portfolio.
• Develop and maintain programme security arrangements per Defence Standard 05-139 and customer security requirements.
• Establish and maintain programme security risk registers; identify, assess and monitor risks.
• Lead security assurance activities and coordiate evidence for compliance obligations.
• Provide clear security advice to Programme Leadership and teams.
• Support security reviews, audits, inspections and customer assurance activities.
• Maintain governance for Information, Cyber, Personnel and Physical Security.
