Job summary

FTSE 100 is seeking a Security Platform Engineering Manager in London to own and steward the group’s security tooling portfolio. You will ensure platforms are properly configured, maintained, and aligned with architectural roadmaps while delivering tangible security outcomes.

You will manage a small engineering team, work with SOC operations, and drive platform development in line with the cyber strategy and multi-division requirements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in cyber security or related field.
• Experience as a platform/product owner for security technology at enterprise scale.
• Hands-on knowledge of security platform engineering and operations.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical product owner for security platforms and ensure health and configuration.
• Maintain expert knowledge of platforms and align with vendor roadmaps.
• Collaborate with SOC and architecture teams to optimize detection and response.
• Lead platform engineering team and manage resource deployment.
• Drive platform transformation and continuous improvement.
