Job summary

Experis is seeking an experienced Security Platform Engineer to join a high-profile organisation on a permanent basis. The role focuses on deploying and managing cloud security platform tools, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and CWPP, while developing robust monitoring and logging strategies.

You will investigate incidents, perform forensic analysis, and automate security tasks to improve efficiency. A strong background in Kubernetes security and DevSecOps is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in security engineering, DevSecOps or platform engineering.
• Experience with Kubernetes security (workload isolation, RBAC, network policies, containerisation and observability tools).
• Experience with Python, Go or Bash for troubleshooting.
• GSEC, CISSP, CISM, OSCP beneficial.
• SC Cleared (DV Clearance is advantage).

Responsibilities

• Deploy, configure, and manage cloud security platform tools and technologies, including SIEM, IDS/IPS, and CWPP.
• Develop and implement security monitoring and logging strategies.
• Investigate and analyse security incidents, including identifying root causes, determining the scope of impact, and remediation actions.
• Perform forensic analysis to identify and investigate suspicious activity.
• Automate security tasks and workflows to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
