Job summary

Argenbright Security Europe Limited (ASEL) is seeking a Security Supervisor / SST Manager to lead a mobile Security Support Officer team across Scotmid’s estate, based in Derby. You will manage day-to-day operations, ensure service delivery, and maintain strong client relationships while ensuring safety and compliance.

You will coordinate staffing, shifts, and training, while using Paxton, People Safe, Timegate and Power BI for reporting and operational management.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a security supervisory or management role.
• Strong people management skills with experience of leading shift-based teams.
• Confident communicator with liaising with clients, Police, and internal stakeholders.
• Right to work documentation must be produced at interview.

Responsibilities

• Lead, support, and motivate Security Support Officers across all shifts to ensure high performance.
• Deliver regular performance reviews, coaching, and development feedback.
• Manage rota planning, staffing levels and shift coverage.
• Provide on-call support to assist team outside core hours.
• Lead recruitment, interviews, onboarding and training for new team members.
• Oversee guarding requests and deployments meeting contractual requirements.
• Coordinate police patrols and external partner responses across the estate.
• Monitor alarm logs and ensure timely resolutions.
• Maintain and oversee pool vehicles and ensure roadworthiness.
• Administer and maintain Paxton, People Safe, Timegate and Power BI systems.
