Job summary

ASELASEL is seeking a Security Support Team Officer to roam across Scotland, blending warehouse security duties with proactive store visits. You will respond to incidents, deter criminal activity, and build relationships with store management and Police Scotland.

This is a mobile, non-static role requiring incident response, welfare support, and strong observation skills. You will operate from Hillwood House, Newbridge on a 6 on/3 off schedule, with shifts starting early mornings, days, and back

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence (Door Supervisor or Security Guard).
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence – a company vehicle provided.
• Minimum 1 year of frontline security guarding experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to provide a full 5-year checkable work history.
• Right to work documentation must be produced at interview.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough security searches of staff, vehicles, and premises.
• Perform High Value checks and secure stock.
• Carry out internal and external patrols to identify risks and hazards.
• Respond to incidents and support staff welfare in security events.
• Deter crime with visible presence and engage with Police Scotland as required.
• Provide training and guidance to staff on safety procedures.
