Job summary

A leading organisation is seeking a Security Operations Manager to enhance their security framework. The role involves overseeing the operations with Managed Service Security Providers, requiring significant experience in Security Operations and relevant certifications. The position is initially set for 3 months with a hybrid working arrangement in South of England, starting in June 2025.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate Security Operations experience.
• Working knowledge of SOC, SIEM, and DFE is desirable.
• Ideally have security credentials and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Security Operations with an External Provider.
• Oversee daily operations and enhance security measures.
• Coordinate with internal and external teams on security protocols.

Job description

I have a requirement to support a university in their search for a Security Operations Manager. You will need to have experience managing and working with Managed Service Security Providers.

Higher Education experience is desirable but not essential.

You will need to demonstrate Security Operations experience, working with SOC, SIEM, Sentinel, DFE, etc. Ideally, having security credentials that are backed up with certifications.

Role: Security Operations Manager

Rate: £5-600 per day

Length: Initial 3 months

IR35: Outside

Location: Hybrid (South of England)

Start date: 16.06.2025
