Job summary

Clearsprings Group is seeking a Security Team Leader in Cheltenham to oversee site-based security officers, ensure safety of service users, staff and assets, and support the Regional Security Manager. The role requires supervising daily security activities, responding to incidents, and maintaining compliance with Home Office and company standards.

The successful candidate will hold an SIA licence, have frontline security experience and a valid driving licence; the role includes 40 hours per week

Qualifications

• /SIA Licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervision).
• Experience in front-line security or similar role.
• Driving licence is essential for this role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee site-based security officers and supervise daily duties.
• Ensure security coverage across designated properties and respond to incidents.
• Assist in incident reports and High Priority Notifications (HPNs).
• Conduct routine inspections and audits of security systems and procedures.
• Assist in safeguarding measures for vulnerable service users.
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with Home Office and company standards.
• Provide on-the-job training and guidance for Security Officers.
• Support the Regional Security Manager with briefings and updates.
• Attend meetings and collaborate with internal departments and external agencies.
• Be available for out-of-hours support and escalation when necessary.
• Follow established security procedures and escalation processes.
• Ensure all site security protocols are adhered to by staff.
