Job summary

Oakpark Security Systems LTD is seeking a dedicated Security Officer for our Security Services team in Colchester, CO4 3ZL. You will work in the control room and on mobile patrols, safeguarding sites and responding to incidents.

You will hold a valid SIA licence and be comfortable with CCTV monitoring, incident reporting, and liaising with clients. The role is based in Colchester, offering 42 hours per week on average and a professional, customer‑facing service.

Qualifications

• Experience in Helpdesk, Call Centre or Control Room operations.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Office and bespoke software.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls in the main Operations Control Room.
• Respond to incidents; patrol and secure facilities.
• Monitor CCTV and alarms; escalate as required.
• Produce daily/weekly/monthly incident reports and handovers.
