Job summary

Auros is seeking a Security Operations/Compliance-minded professional in Edinburgh to triage security requests, analyze alerts with AI, and support incident response. You will review vendor security data, manage access and data deletion requests, and help maintain runbooks and security documentation.

You will collaborate with customers and internal teams, handle high-priority security tasks, and contribute to continuous improvement through automation and metrics tracking.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in security, IT, compliance, or a customer-facing technical role.
• Strong written and verbal communication and ability to explain technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Experience using AI to automate work and build AI agents or workflows.
• Technical foundation in security operations and incident response fundamentals.

Responsibilities

• Act as initial contact for Security queue: triage, prioritize, route, resolve routine requests and escalate complex items.
• Triage endpoint and security alerts and DLP events using runbooks and AI-assisted analysis.
• Participate in incident response: triage phishing attempts and draft internal security notices.
• Review AI-drafted responses to security questionnaires and keep the knowledge base up to date.
• Join customer calls to walk through Auros's security posture.
• Run first-pass vendor security reviews as part of third-party risk management.
• Review requests for new software and AI tools against approval processes.
• Support access checks, data deletion requests, and audits.
• Build automations and AI agents across security tools and keep runbooks current.
• Define and track metrics like time to triage/resolve and questionnaire turnaround.
