Sodexo is seeking a Security Officer for the Rugby site (HMPPS Newbold Revel). You will be pivotal in maintaining safety and security for staff and visitors.

Responsibilities include monitoring CCTV and access control, responding to incidents, and conducting regular patrols. Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid SIA license, and obtain DBS clearance. The role offers training and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid SIA license and be 18+ years old.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong situational awareness and vigilance.
• Knowledge of security procedures and emergency response protocols.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors while following security protocols.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment for building users.
• Monitor CCTV, Access Control, and other security systems.
• Act as the first line of response to security incidents, system activations, and fault reports.
• Handle calls, relay messages, and provide clear guidance to staff and visitors.
• Conduct regular security patrols to ensure ongoing safety and compliance.
