Job summary

Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services is seeking a Security Officer to protect client property, people and assets on site in the UK. You will work to published Assignment Instructions and ensure KPIs/SLAs are met, while maintaining professional conduct and undertaking required licences and training.

On-site role requiring vigilance, compliance with UK law, and proactive engagement with Security Account Manager to maintain high service levels. Full training and licence renewals are provided.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• SIA licence is mandatory, front-line licence must be worn.
• SC clearance desirable for certain roles.

Responsibilities

• Protect client property, people and assets on site.
• Ensure compliance with policies, legal/regulatory requirements and AI instructions.
• Complete required training and renew licences 16 weeks before expiry.
• Maintain incident notebooks and report incidents promptly.
• Support health & safety and carry out check calls as scheduled.
