Job summary

Warehousing Solutions Ltd is seeking a full-time security officer for Milton Keynes. You will work day, night, and weekend shifts with options for days or nights + weekends. Daily hours include day shifts from 8 am to 6 pm or 8 am to 8 pm (£19.50/hour); night shifts from 8 pm to 8 am (£22.50/hour); weekends/OT at £25.50/hour.

Qualifications

Observational skills to notice threats and suspicious activity.
Clear and effective communication for reporting and interaction.
Ability to quickly assess situations and decide on action.
De-escalation skills for tense situations.
Familiarity with security equipment and basic computers.

Responsibilities

Patrolling and securing buildings, perimeters, and access points.
Monitoring CCTV and other security systems for threats or unusual activity.
Controlling access by checking IDs and logging entries/exits.
Responding to alarms, incidents, and emergencies.
Enforcing security policies and resolving disturbances.
Maintaining logs and incident reports; communicating irregularities to appropriate personnel.
