Job summary

Mitie is seeking passionate security professionals to join our Security Guard teams for a new project with the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) across the North London region within a 20 mile radius. The role requires a full UK driving license and the ability to travel between sites as needed.

You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, liaise with emergency services, and provide high levels of customer service while upholding Mitie and DWP security policies.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience.
• DS Licence required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure a safe and secure environment for staff, visitors and property.
• Patrol the premises regularly to identify threats.
• Monitor and control access with proper identification and verification.
• Respond to emergencies or suspicious situations.
• Liaise with local police and emergency services as needed.
• Provide high level of customer service and assist staff and visitors in security matters.
• Submit incident reports as appropriate.
• Adhere to security policies, procedures and regulations.
