Job summary

Savills Company is seeking a Security Officer to join Brewery Square's core security team, providing out-of-hours site protection, conducting foot patrols, monitoring CCTV, and delivering proactive reporting. You will support the centre manager with ad hoc tasks and handle tenant and public enquiries with a strong customer focus.

The role requires a valid SIA licence, a 5-year checkable employment history, First Aid qualification, and a commitment to Health & Safety.

Responsibilities

• Work the hours and shifts as per conditions of employment.
• Undertake patrols of the buildings in line with assignment instructions.
• Lead on meter readings on behalf of tenants.
• Be first point of contact for visitors or staff during your shift.
• Manage car park access and egress.
• Carry out other duties as instructed by security manager, client, or supervisor.
• Comply with Health and Safety policy on site.
• Record incidents in the daily occurrence log and escalate with incident reports.
• Maintain high levels of customer service.
• Be proactive about daily site operations, contractor management, defect reporting, checks of site and general reporting.
• Abide by all company rules and terms.

Job description

Purpose of the Role

To form part of the core security team for Brewery Square to support the smooth running of the site. Maintaining the integrity of the site out of hours. Conducting foot patrols, monitoring CCTV, pro active reporting. Assist with any emergency situation that occur. To support the centre manager with any adhoc tasks as and when required. Handle any enquires and customer service requirements from the client/tenants and public. To prevent and deter any would be criminality.

Key Responsibilities

• To work the hours and shifts in accordance with conditions of employment
• To undertake patrols of the buildings in line with the assignment instructions
• Lead on meter readings on behalf of tenants
• To be the first point of contact for any visitors or staff when the attend site throughout your shift
• To manage the car park access and egress
• To carry out any other duties in accordance with instructions issued by the security manager, client, or RFM
• To fully comply and enforce the Health and Safety policy on site
• Ensure that all incidents are recorded in the daily occurrence log and escalated accordingly with all relevant incident reports completed
• Ensure good levels of customer service
• To take a proactive approach in regard to the day to day on goings of site, including but not limited to, contractor management, defect reporting, checks of the site & general reporting.
• To be aware of and abide by all rules, terms and conditions of the company
