Job summary

Securitas UK in Winnersh is seeking two Security Officers to provide professional security services, protect people and property, and deliver excellent customer service in a 4-on, 4-off night schedule (7:00 PM–7:00 AM). The role requires integrity and a proactive approach to maintain a safe environment.

Salary is £13.97 per hour for 42 hours per week, with benefits and the opportunity to grow within a global security leader.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence required or willingness to obtain one.
• Right to work in the UK.
• 5-year checkable employment history (including periods of employment, education, self-employment or unemployment).
• No unspent criminal convictions.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, professional and punctual with a proactive approach.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Must be aged 18 or over.
• Desirable: driving licence and access to transport.
• Desirable: valid First Aid qualification.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular security patrols and monitor CCTV, alarms, and access points.
• Welcome and assist staff, visitors, and contractors.
• Control site access, issue passes, and manage keys.
• Respond to incidents, emergencies, evacuations, and fire alarms.
• Protect people, property, and assets from loss, theft, and damage.
• Complete accurate records, incident reports, and shift handovers.
• Ensure compliance with security, health & safety, and site procedures.
• Deliver excellent customer service while upholding Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness.

Location: Winnersh, RG41 5TP | Pay: £13.97 per hour | Hours: 42 hours per week | Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, nights only (19:00 - 07:00)

We are currently recruiting for 2 Security Officers to join our team in Winnersh. As a Security Officer, you will provide a professional security service, protecting people, property, and assets while delivering excellent customer service and maintaining a safe and secure environment.
