Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection Ltd. is seeking an experienced Security Officer for a site in Bury St Edmunds, Suffolk, GB.

The role requires you to deal with the public, greet visitors, and ensure security procedures are followed while providing a high-visibility security presence. You must hold a valid SIA DS/SG licence, be able to work on your own initiative, and have a 5-year checkable work/education history.

Qualifications

• Uniform provided by the employer.

Responsibilities

• Deal with members of the public and greet visitors while enforcing security procedures.
• Write accurate incident reports promptly and maintain a visible high-profile security presence.
• Knowledge of security systems and monitoring; check alarms and logs.
• Respond to and manage site incidents and emergencies as they arise.
• Patrol premises and monitor access, including contractors.

Main Duties:

• Dealing with members of the public


• Greet visitors an ensure relevant security procedures are carried out.


• Write accurate incident reports in a timely manner and provide visible high-profile security presence.


• Knowledge of security systems

• Respond to and deal with all site incidents and emergencies.


• Patrolling of premises

The ideal candidate must have:
