Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a Security Officer to cover Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester and Ipswich areas. The role requires a valid SG Licence and CCTV Licence, with full five-year history checks. You will engage with the public, monitor CCTV, and perform lock/unlock duties across varied sites.

Shifts are 16-50 hours per week, days and nights, with broad hours across several schedules. A competitive rate (£12.75–£14.45 per hour) and benefits including uniform, IPSA memberships, and pension

Job description

MAN Commercial Protection are looking for a cover Security Officer to cover Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester and Ipswich areas

Shift pattern: 16-50 hours per week days and nights

Shift timings: 06:00-16:30, 06:00-17:00, 18:00-06:00m 10:00-16:30, 2000-0800, 0600-1800

Pay Rate: £12.75-£14.45 depending on site

Main Responsibilities:

• Customer focused and comfortable to interact and deal with members of the public on a day-to-day basis
• React promptly and appropriately to any security issues that may arise
• Have the ability to work well individually and as part of a busy team
• Monitor CCTV
• Locks / Unlocks

The ideal candidate must have:

• A valid SG Licence
• CCTV Licence is essential
• A full 5-year checkable work / education history.
• Excellent communication and administration skills.
• Customer Service Skills
• Excellent punctuality and attendance
