Job summary

MAN Commercial Protection is seeking a cover Security Officer to support Clacton-on-Sea, Colchester, and Ipswich areas. The role involves engaging with the public, prompt response to security issues, and teamwork across sites with CCTV monitoring and access control.

Shifts include days and nights across various times; salary ranges from £12.75 to £14.45 per hour depending on site. The position offers uniform, IPSA membership, pension, and discounts through Perks at Work.

Qualifications

• A valid SG Licence.
• CCTV Licence is essential.
• A full 5-year checkable work / education history.
• Excellent communication and administration skills.

Shift pattern: 16-50 hours per week days and nights

Shift timings: 06:00-16:30, 06:00-17:00, 18:00-06:00m 10:00-16:30, 2000-0800, 0600-1800

Pay Rate: £12.75-£14.45 depending on site

Main Responsibilities:

• Customer focused and comfortable to interact and deal with members of the public on a day-to-day basis
• React promptly and appropriately to any security issues that may arise
• Have the ability to work well individually and as part of a busy team
• Monitor CCTV
• Locks / Unlocks

The ideal candidate must have:
