Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a vigilant security officer for Friday and Saturday nights from 18:00 to 06:00. You will monitor the site, manage CCTV alerts, and conduct routine patrols to protect premises and people. A proactive, professional presence is essential.

Candidates must have the right to work in the UK, undergo BS7858 screening, and hold an active SIA license. This role requires strong communication and high personal presentation standards on a busy site.

Responsibilities

• Record vehicles, visitors and contractors; maintain site daily occurrence records.
• Monitor site visually and via CCTV; respond to alerts and alarms.
• Carry out regular patrols and inspections of client’s premises.
• Maintain a professional security presence across the site.
• Uphold health and safety policies per company plans.

• Monitor site visually and via CCTV and be fully conversant with the CCTV and site electronic security systems responding to alerts and alarms as required
• Completing regular site patrols and inspections of client’s premises in accordance with the assignment Instructions
• To show a professional security presence throughout the site
• To fulfil health and safety responsibilities by adherence to the requirements of the company’s Health & Safety policy and Health & Safety Management plans

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria

• Applicants must have the right to work in the UK
• You will be required to undergo screening and vetting (BS7858)
• SIA licensed essential
• Computer literateAble to interact at all levels from visitors to senior management.
• High standards of personal presentation
