Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to be the first line of support for employees and visitors at the site on a monthly on-site rotation. You will monitor fire, security and building systems and ensure tasks are completed professionally and in line with legislation.

The ideal candidate has an SIA license, strong communication, and the ability to work on their own initiative, with reliable and punctual attendance; previous security experience is helpful.

Qualifications

  • You must have the right to work in the UK.
  • Experience in Security is advantageous.
  • SIA licence is essential.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative.
  • Professional demeanour with sound judgement and integrity.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of support for employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service. You will be responsible for monitoring fire, security, and building systems, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant legislation

  • Collaborate with other security personnel to ensure comprehensive coverage
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
  • You must have the right to work in the UK
  • Experience of working within the Security Industry is an advantage
  • SIA licence is essential
  • Ability to work on own initiative
