Job summary

Securitas is seeking a Security Officer in Swansea to protect people, property, and assets on a 42-hour weekly schedule. The role requires a valid SIA licence before starting and a flexible pattern including nights.

You will patrol, control access, and respond to incidents while upholding safety standards and delivering excellent customer service on site.

Qualifications

• SIA licence (valid) required before starting.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Age 18 or over.
• 5-year checkable employment/education history.
• No current criminal convictions.
• Strong communication and customer focus.
• Reliable and able to work independently or in a team.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Full UK driving licence and own transport.

Responsibilities

Pay: £12.71
Hours: 42 hours per week, working a 4 on, 4 off night shift pattern from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

To provide a professional security service that protects people, property, and assets while delivering excellent customer service. The Security Officer will work in line with site requirements and company standards, demonstrating integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness at all times. The Security Officer must hold a valid SIA licence before starting operational duties and is expected to maintain a safe and secure environment. The Security Officer will support day-to-day site operations while ensuring a positive experience for employees, visitors, and customers.
