Job summary

Securitas UK in Melton Mowbray is seeking a Security Officer to protect people, property and assets while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll uphold Integrity, Vigilance and Helpfulness and maintain a strong security presence on site.

Qualifications

• Possess a valid SIA licence.
• Available for day, night and weekend shifts.
• UK work eligibility with a 5-year history.
• Strong written and spoken English.
• Reliable transport and gatehouse experience.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site security and prevent unauthorised access.
• Conduct patrols, monitor alarms, and manage site keys.
• Control visitor access and maintain records.
• Support health and safety procedures and report incidents.
• Assist during emergencies and ensure a safe environment for staff, visitors, and contractors.

Pay: £12.83
Hours: Dayshifts - 4 on 4 off

As a Security Officer, you will protect people, property, and assets while delivering excellent customer service. The Security Officer will uphold the values of Integrity, Vigilance, and Helpfulness, maintain a strong security presence, and ensure site safety. A fully licensed Security Officer will support operational requirements and respond effectively to incidents when needed.
