Job summary

Securitas UK is seeking a Security Officer to join our prestigious high-security site. You will monitor and protect people, property and assets, conduct patrols, manage access control, respond to incidents, and deliver excellent customer service, with ongoing training and career development opportunities.

Ideal candidates hold a valid SIA licence, have strong English, and be eligible for UK security clearance.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence required.
• Experience as a Security Officer or in a customer‑facing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service and a professional approach.
• Understanding of health & safety and security procedures.
• Flexible to work days, nights, weekends and public holidays.
• Full right to work in the UK with 5‑year history.
• UK National and eligible for Security Clearance (SC).

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Work at a prestigious, high-security site within a professional environment.
• Monitor and protect people, property, and assets.
• Conduct patrols and respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Manage access control, visitors, and contractors.
• Operate CCTV, alarm, and access control systems.
• Complete reports and maintain accurate security records.
• Deliver excellent customer service at all times.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence.
• Previous experience as a Security Officer or within a customer-facing environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service skills with a professional approach.
• Ability to remain calm and respond effectively to incidents and emergencies.
• Experience completing reports, incident logs, and security documentation.
• Good understanding of health & safety and security procedures.
• Flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required.
• Full right to work in the UK with a 5-year checkable employment and address history.
• Must be a UK National and have resided in the UK for the last 5 years due to site requirements.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.
• Eligible to obtain and maintain Security Clearance (SC).
