Securitas are hiring a Security Officer in the United Kingdom. You'll protect people and property, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service on a premium site.

Qualifications

• SIA licence required.
• IT literacy expected.
• Physically fit for patrols.
• Flexibility to work days, nights and weekends.
• Eligible to work in the UK with a 5-year history.
• Strong written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site.
• Monitor fire alarms, intruder alarms and CCTV as appropriate.
• Conduct external and internal security patrols as detailed.
• Provide traffic control and apply parking restrictions as required.
• Carry out routine tests of security equipment where appropriate.
• Manage keys and perform locking/unlocking duties.
• Ensure equipment is maintained per Instructions.
• Maintain logbooks and records as detailed.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes as required.
• Handle lost property per procedures.

Job Description

Responsibilities

You’ll play a vital part in keeping people, property, and information safe. That includes:

• Prevent and deter unauthorised access to site.

• Ensure any equipment provided by the customer and Securitas is managed in accordance with procedures detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Maintain all logbooks and records as detailed in the Assignment Instructions.
• Issue visitor/contractor passes in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
• Deal with lost property in accordance with the Assignment Instructions.
