Job summary

Serco Limited is seeking a Security Officer at RAF Brize Norton to help protect and support the base by providing essential access, security, and traffic services. You will greet visitors, monitor access, and support operations to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.

The role requires UKSV clearance (SC) and a valid UK driving licence, with the ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts. A successful candidate will contribute to base safety and efficient movement of personnel and vehicles.

Does this sound like you?

You'll be a great fit for this role if you have:

• Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence training and UK Security Vetting (UKSV) clearance or having no issues obtaining it.

• A full UK manual driving licence (maximum six points).
• The ability to meet the colour perception requirement for an Airfield Driving Permit. perception requirement for an Airfield Driving Permit.
• Excellent communication skills and a positive, customer focused mindset. focused mindset.
• Reliability, punctuality, and the ability to work 12 hour day and night shifts.

You must obtain UKSV Security Clearance (SC), which includes more detailed background checks on employment, criminal record, and financial history to ensure suitability for working in secure environments. Please note that UK residency requirements may apply for certain levels of clearance. You will also complete an Occupational Health Questionnaire so we can identify and provide any support you may need to undertake the role effectively.
