Job summary

Securitas UK in Yeovil is seeking Security Officers to protect people, property and assets at a large client site. The roles include Relief and Core Officer positions, with full training provided, no prior security experience required.

You’ll work shifts on a 4 on 4 off pattern, including days, nights and weekends, delivering professional customer service and reliable security. BPSS and SC clearance may be required; British nationality and 5 years UK residence are specified.

Qualifications

• Valid SIA Licence with full training and ongoing support.
• Eligible to obtain Security Check (SC) clearance.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK with a 5-year history.
• Excellent English communication skills.
• Customer-focused, polite, tactful and discreet.
• Proactive and detail-oriented with strong self-motivation.
• Excellent organisational and customer service skills.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who values teamwork, shows initiative, and wants to grow. Ideally, you’ll have:

• ValidSIA Licence(full training and ongoing support provided)
• Eligible to obtainSecurity Check (SC) clearance
• Full UK driving licence
• Right to work in the UK, with a minimum5‑year checkable history
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Customer‑focused, polite, tactful, and discreet
• Proactive and detail‑oriented, with strong self‑motivation
• Excellent organisational, customer service, and communication skills

Due to the nature of this opportunity, candidates must be able to achieve Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) and Security Check (SC) Clearance - Must be a British National and have lived in the UK for the last 5 years.
