Job summary

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest in the Penrith area is seeking a Security Officer to ensure the safety and security of the village and guests. You will be the first point of contact for guests and help create a positive first impression.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, patrolling by vehicle/cycle/foot, and responding to emergencies while liaising with emergency services and completing incident reports.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and ability to perform under pressure.
• Good IT knowledge with a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Full Driving Licence (held for at least 6 months).
• SIA Door Supervisor licence and First Aid qualification or willing to undertake training.

We are seeking a cheerful and efficient Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our village and guests. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression.

What you'll be doing

• Provide a warm welcome to guests, visitors and colleagues
• Patrol the village by vehicle, cycle and foot, ensuring safety and security
• Respond to emergencies, liaise with emergency services and complete incident reports

Your working hours

• Full‑time contract, shifts fall between 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am, working on a 4 on, 4 off working pattern
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of161 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About you
