Job summary

Center Parcs Whinfell Forest in the United Kingdom is hiring a Security Officer to safeguard guests and property. You will be the first point of contact, ensuring a friendly welcome while maintaining safety across the village.

The role includes shifts from early mornings to nights on a 4-on, 4-off pattern with a guaranteed minimum of hours. A valid SIA Door Supervisor licence and First Aid are preferred, plus full driving licence.

Qualifications

• Strong communication skills and the ability to perform under pressure.
• Good IT knowledge and a friendly, approachable attitude.
• Full UK driving licence held for at least 6 months.
• SIA Door Supervisor licence and First Aid qualification (or willing to undertake training).

Security Officer Whinfell Forest | £14.22 per hour

We are seeking a cheerful and efficient Security Officer to join our team and ensure the safety and security of our village and guests. As the first point of contact for guests, you will play a vital role in creating a positive first impression.

What you’ll be doing

• Provide a warm welcome to guests, visitors and colleagues
• Patrol the village by vehicle, cycle and foot, ensuring safety and security
• Respond to emergencies, liaise with emergency services and complete incident reports

Your working hours

• Full-time contract, shifts fall between 6:00am to 6:00pm or 6:00pm to 6:00am, working on a 4 on, 4 off working pattern
• You will be contracted to work a guaranteed minimum of161 hours over a 4‑week period. You may be asked to work additional hours in line with operational requirements
• This role includes early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays

About you
