CIS Security Ltd invites applications for a Corporate Security Officer to join our team at a major mixed-use destination in the United Kingdom. The role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for visitors and occupiers.

You will carry out patrols, reception duties, access control and incident reporting with a calm, professional approach.

Qualifications

• SIA Licence demonstrated or obtained is required.
• Excellent customer service experience with a professional customer-facing approach.
• Strong command of the English language, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality guarding and customer service to visitors and staff.
• Conduct patrols of the site and maintain a visible security presence.
• Operate access control and CCTV systems as required and log incidents.
• Open/close procedures for the building and manage reception duties where applicable.
• Prepare clear incident and shift reports and escalate as needed.

CIS Security has an exciting opportunity for a Corporate Security Officer to join a prominent mixed‑use business destination, serving as a professional ambassador for both CIS Security and our client. Set within a thriving commercial environment with high levels of visitor and occupier activity, this role is ideal for an individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, secure and welcoming atmosphere. You will play a key role in providing a visible security presence while ensuring every interaction reflects the highest standards of professionalism and customer care.,

• Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our customers and service users.
  SIA Licence required
• Security and customer service experience is required
• Must have good command of English language
• Good levels of customer service, communication both written & verbal at all times
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
• Maintains working knowledge of the locations & security & safety for assigned areas
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties - Hospitals, retail, long periods of standing, patrolling, reception duties, access control, and lock ups
• First Aid qualification & a CCTV SIA Licence is a bonus
• To have a smart appearance befitting the company
• Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested, Able to work in a team as well as on your own and have the ability to be pro‑active and think on your feet use initiative
• Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
• Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
• Confident in writing incident and shift reports
• To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
• To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service and ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
• Have the IT skills and the ability to understand and use varied Access Control and CCTV systems and platforms / integrated systems (Lots of sites use different Systems)
• Have the ability to exercise command and control and be an effective communicator to all peer groups and management levels.
• Able to understand Corporate Escalation Process, - Escalate and Disseminate information in a timely manner to the correct personnel in the event or during an emergency or Incident on site.
• The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures.
