Job summary

G4S, in partnership with Staffline, is hiring a Security Officer at Maidstone Hospitals in a busy environment where no two days are the same. You will greet staff and visitors, enforce security protocols, conduct searches, patrol the site and report incidents.

The role requires an SIA Door Supervisor License and a Full UK Driving Licence. Flexibility is essential as shifts include days and nights, across Monday to Sunday, with 24 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor License.
• Must have a Full UK Driving Licence.
• Flexible availability: 24 hours per week, days and nights, Mon–Sun.
• Aged 18 or over with good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet staff and visitors and enforce security protocols.
• Conduct security searches when required.
• Patrol the premises and monitor for incidents.
• Prepare accurate incident and escalation reports.

Job description

Maidstone Hospitals, where you will be required to carry out duties in a busy environment, no two days will be the same and you will have the opportunity to carve out a career with the biggest name in security.

Applicants must have an SIA Door Supervisor License and a Full UK Driving Licence to be considered for this role.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £14.22 per hour

Hours per week: 24 hours a week, must be fully flexible to work any day of the week Monday - Sunday, days and nights

Shifts: from Monday to Sunday, Days, Nights

SIA Licenses: Door Supervisor only

Contract: There is a possibility to progress onto a full-time contract upon completion of your probationary period.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer your duties will include:

• Meet and greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols
• Conducting searches where required
• Patrolling the premises
• Dealing with security incidents and following up with the correct reports

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
