Job summary

Carlisle Support Services is seeking Security Officers to join our team, working with prestigious clients. We provide full training and ongoing support to help you succeed.

You will be part of a friendly, professional team, upholding safety, managing access, deterring crime, and engaging with the public. Applicants must be 18+, hold an SIA licence, and have a clean history.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence held.
• 5 years of checkable work and address history.
• Reliable, punctual, flexible and smart in appearance.
• Friendly, approachable and professional.
• Experience in security or customer-facing roles preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure colleague safety and provide assurance for all.
• Provide a smart, visible, proactive security presence and deterrent.
• Effective conflict management and incident control.
• Control access and egress, conduct security patrols to deter crime.
• Proactively engage with the public in a professional manner.
• Be aware of hazards and incidents and respond appropriately.
• Provide guidance, information and direct customers as a first point of contact.
• Work as part of a team and build strong working relationships.

The role

Your core role will include but not be limited to the following activities:

• Ensure colleague safety, providing a sense of assurance for all

• Able to proactively and professionally engage with the public

• Managing and following safety and security processes and proceduresWorking as part of a team, building strong working relationship

Is this you

• At least 18 years old- Required for a licensable role
• SIA Guarding or Door Supervision licence
• 5 years checkable work and address history
• Reliable, punctual, flexible, and smart in appearance
• Friendly, approachable, and always professional
• Enthusiastic and motivated to do a great job
• Ideally some experience within a Security environment or a customer facing role
• Able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner
• Some experience working within a Security environment and working as part of a team
• Effective people skills, able to interact with clients and customers in a positive manner

Successful candidates will be required to provide original documentation for detailed screening and vetting processes. This could include the following: passport, driving licence, utility bill dated in the last 3 months, HMRC letter, original bank statement, original payslip, birth certificate or a valid share code.
