Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with G4S, is looking for a Security Officer to join a well-known site in Grimsby. The role offers £14.50 per hour on a 42‑hour contract, with a 4 on 4 off pattern from 6am to 6pm, including days, nights and weekends.

You will need an SIA Door Supervisor Licence and a full UK manual driving licence. We welcome applicants, especially women, who want to build a career in security; strong communication and IT skills are essential to use all systems and deliver professional

Qualifications

• Aged 18 or over and able to provide friendly, professional service.
• SIA Door Supervisor Licence required for the role.
• Full UK manual driving licence is essential.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with IT proficiency.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer your duties include:

• Vehicle searches using an under-vehicle mirror, access control, and patrolsbooking in and out visitors and staff
• Alarm monitoring
• Liaising with the customer
• Incident report writing

It is important to have great communication and customer service skills. You will also need to have strong IT skills and be able to use all forms of technology and software systems.

Our perfect Security Officer will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to always provide a friendly and professional service.
