Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with G4S, is recruiting for a Security Officer on an established site in Sunderland. You will help protect staff, buildings, and assets while delivering friendly, professional customer service on a busy automotive manufacturing site. Ideal candidates are aged 18+, confident communicators with a team spirit.

A UK driving licence is required; SIA licence is a plus. On-site training and career development are offered, with 5.6 weeks’ holiday and life assurance benefits

Qualifications

• You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times.
• Good IT knowledge is also key.
• It would be a benefit to have some security experience and your SIA licence.

Responsibilities

• Greeting staff and visitors in a friendly and professional manner
• Ensuring everyone follows the security and safety protocols of the site
• Conducting searches when required
• Taking delivery of parcels and advising the recipient by phone
• Dealing with any security incidents on site and completing relevant incident report forms

Security Officer to work on an established site in

Sunderland.

This exciting opportunity will allow you to work on a busy automotive manufacturing site, with a high standard of security needing to be met at all times. If you are in the security industry or are looking for a career change, then this would be perfect for you! We will offer on-site training, as well as career development.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

Hours: 05.00am to 17.00pm and 17.00pm to 05.00am

Shift Pattern: 3 days, 4 nights, 3 off, 4 days, 3 nights, 4 off

Applicants must have a UK manual driving licence.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer at G4S, you are more than a Security Guard. You'll ensure the safety of our customers' staff, their buildings, and assets, whilst providing excellent customer service with a smile. We pride ourselves on delivering excellent customer service in a safe and secure environment.

Other duties will include:
