Job summary

ISS Facilities Services is seeking a Security Officer at West Middlesex Hospital, London. You will protect people and assets, monitor premises, and provide excellent customer service while upholding safety standards.

This permanent, part-time role offers an hourly rate of £15.36, weekend shifts (Saturday and Sunday) on-site in London. You will work with a friendly team to maintain a safe environment and respond promptly to incidents, while following health & safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous security experience required.
• Valid frontline security SIA licence(s).
• Knowledge of security systems and related tech.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Ensure site safety for all on-site.
• Identify suspicious activities and prevent unauthorised access.
• Maintain awareness of daily events on site.
• Build professional relationships with customers and colleagues.
• Follow Health & Safety procedures and report breaches.
• Work as part of a team or alone as required.

The Role

• Always ensure the safety of the site and everyone on it
• Stay vigilant and identify any suspicious activities
• Prevent any unauthorised access
• Keep up to date with all the activity on site and have full knowledge of daily events
• Create a positive, professional relationship with customers and colleagues
• Adhere to all Health & Safety procedures and ensure any breaches are reported
• Work as part of a team and on your own depending on site requirements

About You

• Previous security experience
• A valid front-line security guarding, door supervision or close protection SIA licence
• Knowledge and experience with security systems and other related tech
• Great attention to detail and a consistent approach
• A team player with good customer service skills
• New recruits will be encouraged to enrol onto the relevant apprenticeship as part of their training and development
