Job summary

Staffline, in partnership with G4S, is recruiting a Security Officer for a Gravesend site. You will meet staff and visitors, conduct searches, patrol the premises, and respond to security incidents while maintaining thorough incident reports.

The role requires good communication and Microsoft Office proficiency, with a preference for a valid security license. Day shifts run 07:00–19:00 on a 7 on/3 off and 7 on/4 off rotation.

Qualifications

• Good customer service skills and clear communication are essential.
• Able to write concise incident reports and keep records.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools for daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Meeting and greeting staff and visitors and ensuring security protocols are followed.
• Conducting searches when required and patrolling the premises.
• Handling security incidents and writing incident reports.
• Managing gatehouse and reception duties as needed.

Job description

Security Officer to join the G4S team, working for a well known-site in

Gravesend.

Site / Location: Gravesend

Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour

Weekly Hours: 56 hours

Shift Pattern: Day shifts 0700 - 1900 on a 7 on 3 off and 7 on 4 off pattern

Vetting / Clearance: Met Police clearance is a mandatory requirement

SIA Required: Door Supervisor or Security Guarding

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer your duties will include:

• - Meeting and greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols
• - Conducting searches where required
• - Patrolling the premises
• - Dealing with security incidents
• - Incident report writing
• - Gatehouse Duties
• - Reception Duties

Our Perfect Worker

• - To be aged 18 or over
• - To preferably hold a valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License
• - Be a great communicator, verbally and written
• - To have great customer service skills
• - Knowledgeable of Microsoft Office platforms
