Job summary

ABM is seeking a proactive Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure shopping environment at Glasgow Fort. The role emphasizes customer service, vigilance, and clear incident reporting, with SIA licensing as a prerequisite and a 4 on/4 off 42-hour week pattern.

The position requires teamwork and the ability to work independently, along with strong communication, time management, and a professional appearance.

Qualifications

• SIA Door Supervisor licence required.
• Excellent communication and report writing skills.
• Ability to work in a team and independently.
• Strong time management and professional presentation.
• Good customer care awareness and loss prevention mindset.

Responsibilities

• Carry periodic duties as outlined in site Instructions.
• Be present on the park to maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Conduct patrols across the retail park and service areas.
• Respond to emergencies including first aid and fire warden roles.
• Oversee external contractor management and safe working practices.

Job Spec:

• Be presentontheparkto ensure a safe and secure environmentis maintained
• Conduct patrols covering all areas of the retail parkand serviceareas
• Take an active role in emergency situations including first aid and fire warden
• Oversee external contractormanagement to ensure safe working practices

Candidate requirements:

• Enjoy working part of a team as well as the ability to work independently to reach the shared goal
• Good communication skills both written and verbal toassistwithaccuratereport writing
